Welcome to Foreign Service Academy

Foreign Service Academy is the training arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan. Established in September 1981, the Academy has trained hundreds of Pakistani and foreign diplomats.

The entire diplomatic corps of Pakistan is a graduate of FSA. In addition to training of entry-level officials of the Foreign Service of Pakistan, it organizes courses mid-career level for officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The officers also visited Chakothi Border (LoC) for sightseeing. Lastly, the officers were briefed on the development activities and administrative setup in AJK.

The participants also took a tour of the facilities in the academy.

Later, a feedback session was held in which the foreign diplomats gave their feedback about their participation in the 28th Advanced Diplomatic Course.

A lecture was given on "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, SEZs: Opportunities and Challenges".
The foreign diplomats attended their graduation ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where prominent ambassadors, foreign secretary and the foreign minister were in attendance.

Lectures were presented on "Pakistan-US Relations" by Amb. Jalil Abbas Jilani and "New Alignments in Global Politics" by Amb. Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry. Country presentations were given by diplomats of Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen and Zambia.
The foreign diplomats also visited the Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The First Study Tour to Gilgit-Baltistan, Naran and AJK was undertaken from 4-10 Aug 2017. To consolidate the experiences and studies of the region, prospects and challenges, the probationary officers were divided in five groups, each focusing a specific area of interest.
