“We are living in decades in which centuries are happening.” These remarks were made by Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, during her visit to Foreign Service Academy on 15 November 2022.

The Academy held an interactive session of Ms. Khar with the probationary officers of 42^nd Specialized Diplomatic Training Course. Her visit signifies the importance attached by the Ministry’s leadership to the Foreign Service Academy.

Discussing key global and regional dynamics, Ms. Khar contextualized Pakistan’ foreign policy choices and compulsions in the fast-changing world. She encouraged young officers to build their skill set and acumen according to emerging international trends to maximize gains within geo-political and economic landscape. She expressed full confidence in capabilities of FSP cadre, who with their hard work and determination are keeping the flag flying. The Probationary officers thanked Minister of State for visiting the Academy to engage with them.
