The Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad held its Passing-out Ceremony of the 25th Junior Diplomatic Course on December 15, 2017. A group of 23 diplomats from 21 friendly countries attended the course. A large number of Foreign Ambassadors based in Islamabad, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic Corps, eminent scholars, and educationists as well as the faculty members of the Academy attended the event.

November 30-December 01, 2017

During the visit to Muzzaffarabad city, the participants of the 25th JDC attended a briefing by P&D on Salient Development Projects of Government of AJK, followed by a briefing by Kashmir Liberation Cell, Muzzaffarabad.The participants later called on the Honourable President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan where they were briefed on the history of AJK and Kashmir dispute. November 21-25, 2017

The participants of the 25th Junior Diplomatic Course completed their four day long tour of Lahore. Besides holding a meeting with Chief Secretary, the group also visited Punjab Police Integrated Command and Control Centre, the Walled City, Wagah Border, Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, LUMS university, National College of Arts and Lahore Museum.

November 19-21, 2017

The participants of the 25th Junior Diplomatic Course continued their study tour to Sialkot and Lahore. In Sialkot, interactions were held with the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a meeting with the District Coordination Officer, in addition to visiting Raj Co (Pvt) Limited, QSA Surgical (Pvt) Limited and Leather Field (Pvt) Limited.

After a lecture on Types of International Agreements and International Law by Mr. Ahmer Bilal Soofi, the participants of the 25th Junior Diplomatic Course visit the National Defence University followed by a visit to Lok Virsa Museum for a glimpse of the culture of Pakistan.

The participants of the 25th Junior Diplomatic Course had a discussion on China – Pakistan Economic Corridor with Dr. Shahid Rashid, Director,M/O Planning & Development. Followed by an Introduction to Strategic Plans Division: Its Role & Functions by Brig. Zahir Kazmi, Director Arms Control, SPD. The session of lectures ended on the topic of Public & Economic Diplomacy by Ambassador (R) M. Saeed Khalid, but the day of activities came to rest after a visit to the Parliament of Pakistan.

H.E. Mr. David Hale, US Ambassador to Pakistan, enlightens the participants of the 25th JDC on Pakistan-US Relations. Later discussions were arranged with Dr. Talat Farooq and Ambassador Shaukat Ali Mukadam followed by a visit to Pakistan National Council of Arts.

Participants of the 25th JDC were given an introduction to the cultural mores of Pakistan by Mr. Uxi Mufti followed by an interactive session with Dr. Aneel Salman on Developing countreis and international economics. The day was concluded after a visit to Pakistan Monument, Islamabad.
