The probationary officers of 37th Specialized Diplomatic Course commenced their First Study Tour on 4 Aug 2017. The group arrived Skardu by Air, where they held useful meetings with the Deputy Commissioner Skardu and Regional Programme manager AKRSP besides visiting Satpara Dam, Shigar Fort, Hashupi gardens, Upper Kachura Lake and Shangrilla Resort.

The Commissioner Baltistan Division hosted a dinner in honour of the delegation and interacted with the officers. In addition, Mr Arif Aslam, Chairman Shangrilla Resorts/former Chairman PTDC held an interactive session with the officers on tourism potential of GB, challenges and way forward followed by a dinner.
