Visit to SIUT and meeting with Professor Dr Adeeb Rizvi, who established a small 8 bed kidney centre in Karachi 42 years ago. The story of phenomenal success of the SIUT which has grown in size, range and quality of medical care and transplantation in kidney, liver, eyes and cancer treatment completely free of cost.
It is a renowned center for ethical kidney transplantation. It was a delightful experience to see the SIUT’s extensive facilities and state-of-the-art equipment.
